When a loss feels like a win.....

Despite losing 3-0 to Haverhill, Ely 2's fought hard to defend against their powerful shots. Considering other teams conceded many more goals to them, Ely did extremely well. Without their usual team, Ely 2's had a few excellent players from the 3's who stepped up and to help defend. All of the team played so well, and this was evident as it was hard to determine one particular player of the match. Teas were provided by the excellent Beth who was complimented on her brilliant goalkeeping by the opposition! Muppet of the match was awarded to Emily, Natalie and Evie. Natalie and Evie seemed desperate to score for Haverhill, and Emily had a spectacular fall. Overall, a funny and successful day for Ely.
