Cambridge City 5 0 - 0 Ely 2

As well as Gemma's lucky pants to help us win the ladies seconds now know of non wedgie pants which also keep you warm, thanks to Hollie and her base layer pants! On the pitch the ladies had a good game full of brilliant communication, brilliant defending and not so brilliant small injuries (some happening previous to the match, others during the match).

Highlights include Hollie and her base layer pants driving the ball up the pitch with Polly on multiple occasions. Fantastic hits and clearing by the defence as well as managing to successfully defend multiple short corners!

The rain brought many slip ups mainly by Aimee who consequently got muppet of the match as well as managing to mess up her shoe laces which were saved by Ellie. Emma played brilliantly managing to put in some fantastic hits and put her all into the game, chasing many balls and tackling well and consequently she won player of the match.

We would like to thank the Ladies 3's for playing for us absolutely brilliantly and showing fantastic club spirit!

Overall it was an enjoyable game in which everyone played well
