Ely Ladies 2 XI v Cambs South 2 XI

Ely Ladies were 1-0 up at half time thanks to Tassie Ferentinos taking the opportunity to score and doing so. Unfortunatley they then conceded a short corner. Diane Redman, playing goal again for the 2's this weekend, made many great saves keeping the score down along with Gemma Neal, Kat Bamber and Evelyn Mary Flack who saved of the line too. Midfield worked very hard indeed given the heat!! However they were unable to stop Cambs South 2 from scoring another goal during play making it 2-1 to Cambs South. The Ladies 2's were unlucky not to get a point. But joint player of match went to Diane and Charlotte Pettitt and muppett of the match went to Diane for falling over in her kit!!! All in all a brilliant effort by girls and as our moto goes all be it flip reversed we'll 'ave 'em away!!!
