Saffron Walden 3s v Ely Ladies 2s

Good game at Saffron Walden, they were fast and quick of the bat scoring 3 quick goals. The Ely girls were buzzing for a game and Polly Cooper managed to swiftly slot the ball past the Saffron Walden keeper to score a goal before half time but Ely were unlucky to concede a fourth. Ely ended the first half much stronger and organised. The second half saw a switch in play. Ely were much more composed and although they were unable to score they were able to hold off Saffron Walden, until about 2 mins before the final whistle when Walden were able to sneak in a final goal. The final score being 5-1 to the home side. Even though Ely lost the game it was awesome just from the laughs and banter of the team which led to Gemma Neal getting muppet of the match for her pre match boob/bra incident. All I remember from the game is the stupid joke's! Player of the match went to Charlotte Beck for her fantastic debut performance.
