Ely Ladies 2s v Bourne Deeping 3s

Ely travelled away to Bourne Deeping with the bare 11 hoping to advance on last weeks draw. Ely started really strong pressing high with most of the position. Ely were unlucky in the first half to not score, Bourne did a quick break and managed to beat the Ely defence and keeper. First half 1-0. Ely started the second half strong with many chances of scoring but all denied by the efforts of the Bourne keeper. Ely continued to battle hard winning a number for short corners and finally managed to find the back of the goal following an amazing strike by Pam and a Bourne deflection. Final score 1-1.
