No match report this week, just a quick message from the me.
Perhaps It was down to Halloween but this was a freaky week, 6 regular players unavailable meant a rather makeshift team without substitutes travelled to top of the league Cambridge South for a 10:00am push back.
Just in case we weren't up against it enough, our goal keeper was still putting on his pads as the whistle for the start blew.
And it went downhill from there, three early short corners gave the home team a 3:0 lead, which they built on throughout the game. We did manage to rally in the second and make some chances but we were outclassed... 7:1 the final score.
We have promised to give them a better game at Ely, we decided to skip man of the match for a number of reasons the main one being there wasn't one.
If we do get a full strength team out both to training and a Saturday we will compete, if we don't these results are going too continue.
