Ely's men travelled to the City of Peterborough annual 7-a-side tournament on Saturday 29th June. With only eight players and the temperature reaching 23 degrees, this was always going to be a tough day! The side played five game in a tough pool winning two and losing three. Good hockey was produced for a lot of the day against good opposition. Ely finish fourth in Pool 2, lining up a play-off against Oundle. It was a tightly fought battle that resulted in a 2-2 draw. Skipper, Fez was pleased with the teams overall performance.

On Sunday 30 June, Ely will again travel to CoP for the mixed 7-a-side tournament.
